Just because it makes me happy, I will share this with you:
Also, I have started a movie nerd blog here in an effort to get myself writing more often, and also to share with you all my sometimes embarrassing and very eclectic taste in movies.

The video made me weep buckets. Mainly because of the absence of the super hot Mike Patton.
I remember the fury I felt when Faith No More and Nirvana hit the big time and me and my friends had already been listening to them for years while everyone else insisted that that couldn't be possible because it was new music. *eyeroll* "We Care A Lot," "Angel Dust," and "Evidence," are still some of the finest songs I've ever heard even after all this time.
Sometimes I'm such a music snob.
Did I tell you the giggle factor and pure snark utopia that I've found thanks to your Rock'N'Roll Confidential link? I censored the profanity from my EMO 11 year old, but let her read the funny ones with me. She now calls nerdy guys everywhere, "Jeremy," and started laughing at Lady Sovereign's promo shot.....in front of a BRICK wall! Never has she uttered the word, douche bag, though. She's 11. I must shield some of her innocence, and save something for our mother/daughter discussions.
Yeah, the lack of Mike is heart-breaking, but I still just love this video and am forced to watch it over and over again.
And, I feel you on the music snobbery. I went to see Bright Eyes a few years ago and had to laugh at all the teeny-bopper emo kids who were so shiny and new. I loved catching their looks of scorn at us "old people" when I knew I'd been listening to the music for years before they'd gotten their white belts and hair gel!
I'm so glad you like Rock N Roll Confidential! We also refer to lame guys as Jeremy! Rob's in a band, so we used to go to a lot of live gigs and "Jeremy" is a great code word for "douchebag" band/singer.
I'm the living embodiment of Cake's "Rock N Roll Lifestyle" song. Yes, I want to buy the concert shirt to prove that I was there, and that I heard of them first!
